Globus - introduction

Globus is a tool for reliable transfer and secure sharing of datasets both inside and outside of KU Leuven. Globus can help you with:

• transferring data between storage systems (Onedrive, L-drive, HPC systems, ManGO …)
• transferring data from your laptop to a storage system
• planning recurrent data transfers
• sharing data with (groups of) collaborators

Topics covered

In this session, the functionalities of Globus will be presented, and then explored with hands-on exercises.

Target audience

This session is accessible for researchers  from KU Leuven, as well as users from the Flemish Supercomputing Center (VSC). Participants are asked to bring their own laptop if possible. No prior knowledge is needed.
