Guidelines

Why Attend?

  • Inspiring Talks: Gain insights from leading experts in AI and research.

  • Engaging Lightning Talks: Discover cutting-edge developments in brief, dynamic presentations.

  • Networking Opportunities: Connect and engage with fellow VSC HPC users and industry leaders.

Lightning Talks

If you like to present a lightning talk, please review the guidelines provided below. Your unique insights and expertise will be valuable to the success of this event.

Guidelines to submit your presentation for the lightning talks

  1. Choose a catchy title, bear in mind that you address a very diverse audience from a wide variety of scientific/application domains.

  2. List your collaborators and their affiliations on the title slide.

  3. On the title slide, underline the name of the presenter, that makes it easier for the other attendees to get in touch with you.

  4. You have 2 minutes for your talk, this will be rigorously enforced.

  5. Limit the number of slides to at most three besides the title slide (so at most four slides in total).

  6. Create a PDF version of your slides.

  7. The deadline for the final submission is October 17, 2024.

  8. Please send your presentation to our VSC colleague, Geert Jan BEX, at (geertjan.bex@uhasselt.be).

We are excited to welcome you this fall and to share an enriching and empowering experience. Prepare for an inspiring day of learning and collaboration!
