Good Practices in Research Software Development

Training by Professor Geert Jan Bex.

This training will enhance your understanding of the researchers' software skills needed to apply good practices that will enable open and reproducible research. Learn valuable tips and tricks, and explore recommended specialized courses for different programming languages.

The aim of the session is to unite researchers from UHasselt who are involved in research software development, regardless of expertise and software language proficiency.

  • Register via this form. Note: Registration for the workshop is free but mandatory.

  • DS Behavioral Sciences & Humanities: acknowledged as 'Research management & communication skills' - course/workshop aimed at developing research (management) skills
  • DS Health & Life Sciences. For PhD students of the Doctoral School of Health & Life Sciences, a combination of different sessions (adding up to a half/full day) can be acknowledged together as (half) a transferable skills course.
  • The training will be added automatically to the doctoral portfolio of the PhD students who signed the attendance list.
